  • UMRS Historic Data Viewer Upper Mississippi River Historic Viewer

    The Upper Mississippi River Historical Viewer contains map tiles of Upper Mississippi River data dating back to 1869. Images from the 1869 Warren Survey, 1878 Farquhar Survey, 1890 Mississippi River Commission, 1915 Hoffman Survey, and the 1939 Brown Survey are available for online viewing. The historic data can be displayed over contemporary datasets including 2001 National Land Cover Dataset and recent aerial photographs.

 


 

  • UMRS Land Cover Viewer LTRMP Land Cover Viewer
    The Long Term Resource Monitoring Program (LTRMP) Land Cover/Land Use data are featured in an ArcGIS Server viewer. The Internet Enabled Geographic Information System (GIS) allows users to quickly create maps of the Upper Mississippi River Land Cover data.

 

 



  • Submersed Aquatic Vegetation ModelSubmersed Aquatic Vegetation Model

    A statistical model to predict the probability of occurrence of submersed aquatic vegetation in Pool 8 of the Upper Mississippi River on the basis of a few hydrological, physical, and geomorphic variables.
